Notes |
- History of Boscawen and Webster, From 1733 to 1878, Charles Carleton Coffin, Concord, N.H., 1878, pg. 306
He was probably a son, possibly grandson, of William, who was born in London in 1653, and who came to Newbury about 1667. He took an active part in all matters pertaining to the good of the settlement.
He married ----- Flood, a sister of Richard Flood, one of the first settlers. He aided in the erection of the first saw-mill.
